Our products do not travel in refrigerated transport and as such we are unable to guarantee that the chocolate will not melt.

Best of British is not liable in the instance that chocolates or any other products are altered as a result of their transportation.

Some lines of products are only available in store and some perishable or fragile items cannot be sent out via mail. If you have a special request, please email or ring us and we’ll let you know if we can help.

At Best of British we take pride in offering you the highest standard of products and service. However, it’s important to note that most food items are perishable and chocolate, in particular, can react to changes in temperature.

Contact us if you’re not familiar with the correct temperatures for the specific products you’d like to order.

You can choose your items, select your delivery address and pay from the online store.

We currently don’t ship overseas, but if you send us an email, we can let you know if your request is possible and how much the shipping will be.

Yes, you can order a gift for family or friends in Australia. We have already imported the products from Britain and Ireland to Western Australia. So we’ve taken care of any customs charges or considerations.

We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard, so you can order and pay online from another country. Simply provide the Australian delivery address. We’ll do the rest!

We care about protecting your personal and payment details, so we don’t take orders over the phone or by email.

The easiest, most secure way for you to place your order is by shopping in our online store. You can choose your items, select your delivery address and pay, quickly and easily, all in one spot.

We accept Visa and Mastercard via our secure online payment option.

We do sometimes run out of certain lines, usually because of the time taken to import stock from the UK and Ireland. However, on average we have containers arriving every 3 or so weeks.

We will contact you by email or phone to advise when our new stock is arriving, offer you an alternative product and determine how you want to proceed.

Unfortunately, we can’t always reorder products that are on sale or discontinued.

If we can’t offer you a suitable solution for an out of stock item, we will organise a refund.

Yes. We take online security seriously and have taken every available precaution to protect your online payment. Our website is protected by the highest level of internet encryption security.

Best of British does not retain your credit card details after your order has been processed.

We calculate your delivery costs based on the weight or size of your order.

  • All standard orders are sent by registered parcel using Australia Post
  • Standard delivery costs are based on the weight or size of your selected items and your delivery destination
  • Cost is displayed at the checkout prior to purchase
  • Delivery by Express Post is available on request – fixed costs apply

Usually, we dispatch all orders within 24 hours, unless received on a Saturday or Sunday. These orders will be processed the following Monday.

At peak times like Christmas or Easter we receive high volumes of orders, so you should allow longer.

Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee delivery times once we have dispatched your parcel.

You should allow from 3-7 days for parcel delivery to major Australian cities. Delivery to regional areas may take longer.

You can opt for Express Post if your delivery is urgent.

At Best of British, we take the utmost care packing your products for delivery so that your purchases reach you in perfect condition.

Unfortunately, we can’t control what happens in transit. If your parcel is damaged in any way, please contact Australia Post as they are responsible for the safe delivery of your order.

If there is any other problem with your order, please let us know by phone or email ASAP.

Yes, there is free parking in the carpark directly outside our shop in Joondalup.

We are extremely family friendly as the store is packed full of treats for young and old. A visit to the store is a lovely experience that brings families together.

We often meet adults who use their visit to the shop to share memories with kids or grandkids while they stock up on treats!

Yes, our shop is wheelchair friendly.

We always try to find any product you’re looking for. Sometimes there are restrictions in place that prevent products being imported into Australia. Or the cost may be prohibitive.

Either way, just ask one of the friendly team and we’ll find out for you.

Best of British will endeavour to provide you with full ingredient and nutritional information, if requested. However, we cannot offer advice about your dietary requirements or accept any responsibility for an allergic reaction to the products that we sell.

The best approach is for you to request information about ingredients via email, or in person at our shop in Perth. If you’re unsure about the suitability of any product, we suggest you seek professional advice.

At the moment we do not have gift vouchers. But watch this space – we hope to make them available online in the future.

We often have gift baskets on sale for special occasions like Mother’s or Father’s Day. However, if you have a list of items you’d like to give as a gift, we can put together a personalised gift basket. Just ask a team member for details.

Yes. Our stock is ordered and imported direct from suppliers in the UK and Ireland. You’re getting the real deal.

Supermarkets have the buying power of a huge business, which means they can buy and sell some UK products cheaper than smaller local businesses. However, they can only do this by ordering a limited range of stock in bulk.

When you shop with Best of British, you’re supporting a family business. We consistently carry a much larger variety of British and Irish products than you’ll ever see in the Aussie supermarkets.

You can rely on us to take our time sourcing and securing the best deals possible to bring you the best prices. So, in fact, our products are often cheaper than the supermarkets and we offer a much wider choice.

While we don’t have storewide sales, we usually have some items on special every week.
